Washington, D.C. (November 5, 2015) - The Housing America Task Force celebrated Housing America Month by hosting a garden cleanup at the historic Nickerson Gardens in Watts, Calif. on October 16. The garden serves approximately 3,200 residents in the community.

"The Housing America team was excited and honored to visit the residents of Nickerson Gardens and help them with their cleanup project,” says Clif Martin, Housing America Task Force Chair. “We hope our efforts will aide them in producing great vegetable gardens and creating a social hub for many of the families who live there."
