Housing America Donates Household Supplies to ALIVE! House Shelter Families

Washington, D.C. (June 23, 2015) - Housing America, NAHRO’s campaign that raises awareness about affordable housing, donated household and cleaning products to four families in ALIVE (ALexandrians InVolved Ecumenically) transitional house shelter in Alexandria, Va. ALIVE! House provides 6-12 months of shelter, support deserving income-eligible families and helps women and families in emergency situations.

NAHRO Announces Its Housing America Campaign's Annual "What Home Means to Me" Poster Contest

WASHINGTON, DC (October 10, 2012) - The National Association of Housing Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) is pleased to announce the completion of the annual Housing America’s 2012 Poster Contest – “What Home Means to Me,” and reveal the names of the 12 winning contestants.   The contest, which has been held annually since 2007, collects original artwork, accompanied by thoughts about “what home means to me,” from children living in affordable housing developments throughout the United States.

National Housing Advocacy Organization and Habitat for the Chesapeake Conclude a Month Long Housing Awareness Campaign

PHA Celebrates Housing America Month with Opening of Mantua Square in West Philadelphia
